Governance
Central Theme: Justice after War
Governance is the backbone of a stable and prosperous Sudan. The SPF Forum promotes accountable, inclusive, and transparent governance structures that reflect the aspirations of all Sudanese.
What We Do:
- Support Democratic Reforms: Advocate for fair elections, constitutional reforms, and the rule of law.
- Promote Citizen Participation: Empower communities to actively engage in policy decisions and governance processes.
- Strengthen Local Governance: Support decentralized governance models that address specific regional needs.
Example Initiative:
The People’s Assembly Project – A series of town hall meetings in rural areas to gather grassroots input on governance priorities and share feedback with policymakers.
Welfare
The Forum focuses on reducing poverty and addressing systemic inequalities to ensure that every Sudanese has access to basic services and opportunities for a dignified life.
What We Do:
- Advocate for universal access to healthcare, housing, and sanitation.
- Partner with grassroots organizations to design poverty alleviation programs.
- Promote economic resilience through skills training, microfinancing, and job creation.

Stories
Achieving true reconciliation requires addressing social inequities and protecting the rights of all Sudanese. The SPF Forum champions initiatives that foster unity, equality, and healing.
What We Do:
- Advocate for gender equality and the empowerment of marginalized groups, including women, youth, and ethnic minorities.
- Support intercommunal dialogue programs to bridge divides and rebuild trust.
- Promote mental health services to address the trauma of conflict.

Bridging Communities Dialogues – Bringing together leaders from different ethnic and cultural groups to collaborate on shared challenges like water access and land use.
Education
Education is a cornerstone for sustainable development and social cohesion. The SPF Forum works to rebuild and transform Sudan’s education system to prepare the next generation for leadership and innovation.
What We Do:
- Advocate for free and equitable access to education across all regions.
- Support the integration of peacebuilding and conflict resolution into school curricula.
- Empower youth through skills-based training programs to enhance employability and leadership potential.
Example Initiative:
Future Builders Program – A mentorship and vocational training initiative designed to equip Sudanese youth with technical skills for industries such as renewable energy, agriculture, and technology.
